Silver moves. It darkens in the creases, brightens where your hands do the most work, and after a year no two pieces that left this bench together still look alike.

We seal nothing. A lacquered surface stays new by staying dead. Ours goes dull, then deep, then somewhere around the sixth month it starts looking like it belongs to you.

Wear them swimming. Wear them to sleep. The only piece we have ever turned away from the repair bench is one that came back untouched.
