Founded and still run by the two engineers who built the platform.
Matthew Price and Geoff Maidens hold more than 55 years of combined experience in IT and telecommunications. Cloudtel operates from offices in Australia and New Zealand, with critical infrastructure at Global Switch Sydney.
Solutions scoped to requirement
Deployments are scoped to the client requirement and budget rather than to a fixed plan tier. A named consultant and technical support are assigned to the account where required.
Wholesale carrier relationships
Established relationships with Telstra, Verizon, Vocus, AAPT, Telecom New Zealand and Vodafone secure volume rates. Those rates are passed through to partners.
Reporting and data access
Every client receives online access to service statistics, with daily reporting by email on request. Client statistics databases can be populated directly, live or on a schedule.

How quickly will my services be ready?
Inbound and outbound services can be provisioned within hours. Where a build is complex or dependent on a supplier, timelines are confirmed at the outset.
I already use another provider. Can I use you as well?
Yes. Cloudtel does not require consolidation of all services as a condition of engagement. Clients commonly run both providers in parallel during a transition.
How much experience do you have?
Cloudtel has delivered carrier services for over twenty years and has supported PortaOne installations since 2001. The founders hold more than 55 years of combined industry experience.
Can I meet you to discuss my business?
Yes. Cloudtel is based in Pyrmont, Sydney, and meetings can be held on site or at the client premises, including a review of existing services held with another provider.
I am an established business. What are my technical options?
Traffic can be routed to client systems by any industry standard where content is not hosted on Cloudtel infrastructure. Cloudtel specialises in VoIP for voice service providers.
